Career Guidance Session on "Clinical SAS"
Shirpur – A special career guidance session on the topic “Clinical SAS Programming and Career Opportunities in Clinical Research” was organized today at H. R. Patel Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research. The session was conducted in collaboration with Decoded 9.4.
During the session, students were given in-depth insights into Clinical Research, Clinical Data Management (CDM), and various data-related roles in the pharmaceutical industry, including the software tools and skills required for these fields. The session highlighted the career opportunities available for pharmacy graduates in the area of Clinical SAS Programming.
The program began with an introduction to the importance of SAS software in the industry. Following this, a live demo showcased the entire process — from handling raw data to preparing final reports. Students were taught how SAS syntax, PROC steps, and data analysis are used in real-world applications.
The trainers addressed student queries through case studies, real-time examples, and discussions on industry challenges, providing valuable clarity. The enthusiastic participation of students and their eagerness to ask questions was especially noteworthy.
Mr. Roshan Rajput, a SAS programmer and trainer from Decoded 9.4, led the session. The success of the event was made possible through the special support of Principal Dr. S. B. Bari, Dr. Vivekanand Chatp, Prof. Sushant Amale, and Prof. Deepak Patil.
This session helped students gain a clear understanding of what SAS software is, how it is used in the pharmaceutical industry, and how to prepare for a career in this field.
Decoded 9.4 also announced upcoming practical training programs, real projects, and placement guidance workshops for students.
